-   Refilled 24a cartridge will not print.  Lexmark says; "tough, refilled cartridge is not 'original equipment' so therefore the s/w blocks print."
I have an X4550-   bremike

I had the same problem and kept taking the color one in and out. Then I shook it onto a piece of paper until I saw a little ink come out and reloaded it. Finally, I re-inserted it and it went to the align menu. Then it worked.
