It is possible to fix at home but very risky without proper knowledge and equipment and if you try your warranty wont cover it. get the xbox customer support number and see if they will fix it for free if not you have to pay for it to be fixed

Three red lights flashing around the power button, Wont let the controller log in.

If you have the 3 red lights this is to do with the GPU and the CPU overheating and you will need to get the system fixed. What you can do is send it in to be repaired and they will fix it for you, although this can take about 4 weeks and cost you $140.

The other way that you can fix it is to do this at home using a good Xbox 360 Repair guide.

I hope this helps and if so can you please rate so it can help others.

When play the xbox360 for a while, its stops and not able to continue playing unless i turn it off.

Yes this is the freezing problem you will need to send it back and get it fixed.

Or the other option that you have is to use a good repair guide and fix it yourself from home.

If you send it in you will be looking at about a 4 week wait and then having to pay out $150 for the repair.

If you want to fix it from home you should use a good Xbox 360 Repair guide.

I hope this helps you and if so can you please rate this so it will help others.

My xbox has a red thing in the bottom right corner of the ring. when i put on a game it came up with E-65. what should i do?

The best thing to do is contact Microsoft and see if your unit is under warranty and if it is, organize to send it back to Microsoft.
Unfortunately there are no home fixes for this problem as the microprocessor has become faulty and needs to be replaced by Microsoft.
Sorry to be the bearer of bad news.

My xbox 360 has no picture, the audio works, tried games and a movie. The tv works. Please help me. Thank you

That's a sign of a "red ring of death" in the near future. If you're capable, the x-clamp mod fix should deal with that problem. Otherwise find someone like me who can fix it because Microsoft will wind up giving you static.

Xbox 360 freezing during game play

Oh Wow, I am sorry to hear That dude. That has happened to me twice and i have heard to send it in to Cheap - O - Soft(Microsoft) to have it Fixed. What has happened to your Xbox is that it has Overheated, and now the CPU's ( Central processing units) Have broken off their sockets. What happens with the 360 is that when it gets so hot, the motherboard begins flexing against the CPU's, and their restraints called the X- clamps( The things that lock the CPU) and then the CPU breaks off. So your xbox keeps freezing Beacuse of that.
One thing you can do is to send it in to microsoft to have it repaired. just call 1-800-4MY-XBOX and then follow the instructions. But this only works if your xbox is under warranty.
If you are someone that is technically capable, you can open up your Xbox and fix it using this giude. It seems to have worked for many people and they have been glitch free for months. Here is the Link http://www.instructables.com/id/Fix-the-Red-Ring-of-Deathwithout-towels/ . Just follow this and repair your Xbox once and for all. However, that is only if you know and are sure that you are capable of working with delicate electronics. And i heavily reccomend that if your Xbox is still under warranty, that you send it in to them and have it reapaired. Takes about two weeks and is free. Ok then notify me if that works

Joe Goods

Isn't Joe Goods out of business? Sent a unit into them for repair and have not been able to reach them since. They stated a refund request was forwarded to Glalat.com. If anyone has information regarding this company please let me know.
