Question about GE WBVH6240F Front Load Washer
Where do you find the filter
It took us a while but we finally found it. It is behind a panel. This panel is in between the top part of the washer(the section that has the door, in other words the actual container for the clothes) and the bottom drawer(if you have one). You have to remove the panel by removing some Hex nut bolts. After you remove the panel you see a plastic cap. After you unscrew the cap, you see the filter. Yucky things may start draining out immediately after you unscrew it so have something below it to catch it. We had tons of water come out on one occassion. By the way, the plastic cap looks kind of like the cap on your car you have to unscrew in order to put gas.

We had same problem. The pump was all clogged up with fabric debris, and a part of a metal bra liner. I removed the pump and cleaned it out. Now it seems to work fine, and went through a complete cycle. Ther pump was accessed from the front, and was not too hard to remove.
