Question about Canon Digital Rebel / EOS-300D Digital Camera with EF-S 18-55mm Lens
Using too low of a voltage can injure some motors like the one that releases the shutter, but the folks at canon told me that 0.2V difference is OK...0.4V difference could be trouble.

The BP-511's that are on my shelf are all 7.4V. The worst that could happen if you try the 7.2 in your camera is that it just won't work. I can't see that it could do your camera any harm.
