Hi,

Most likely there is a shorted cell in the battery, when that happens the battery will not charge.
There are mthods of zapping the battery with a high voltage current that may give the battery back a bit of life, but the resurection will be only temporary.

Check parts 2.15 and 2.16 of this article as it will give you much more information about batteries and fixing them.

Electric bicycle battery. Left over winter for too long without recharging. Ideas for resurecting it to life please.?

Most charger systems for recharging batteries will not recharge a dead battery. But you may be able to bring the battery back to a voltage high enough to get the charger to work. Find a battery drill with the same voltage. Take small alligator clips and hook the battery up positive to positive, negative to negative to your same voltage dead battery. Leave it several hours till the voltage grows in your dead battery. Then try the recharger that came with the bike battery. Don’t leave the batteries inside while you are doing this.

Motorola A1200 cell phone battery will not charge with AC chargers

HI,

If your phone is still under warranty the best solution is to get it replaced. The problem is actually with the port of the charger.I mean the hole in which you plug in your charger isn't working properly.Where as your USB port is different and works properly so it charges the battery. So you will have to get this repaired.

G'day i have a 2007 npr 400 and recently it wont tip when i engage PTO can you tell why that may be?

MetroKane E RABBIT portable rechargeable battery wine bottle cork screw. I need a replacement battery. Present battery in it is recharable group of three batteries spot welded together with bridges recharged by a 8.5 volt charger. Each of the batteries are the size of a AA standard, with no raised end to designate polarity. Using my VTRr, with no load I get 8.5 volts. Each cell alone reads 3 volts.

The present batteries will no longer hold a charge strong enough to run the Cork screw.

Thanks for your assistance.

My yamaha cygnus battery needs recharging everyday I have replaced the battery for the 3rd time in 6 months without success.Everything else seems to work just the battery issue any suggestions please

take it to a yamaha service center and have them check the voltage output of the charger system
if it chargers more than the 14.5 volts for a 12 volt battery or more than 8 volts for a 6 volt battery , that will explain the causes of rapid battery failure

What battery for ac input 100-240Vac 330mA

You need two 12 volt batteries in series for your charger to work. If the batteries are both flat then use an automotive 12 battery charger to recharge them individually. It may take several days to get them back up enough for the 24 volt battery charher to start working again.

Camera wont come on battery gets really hot

if it is a digical if so the batteries have to be rechargeable and be over 1000 because the rest just arnt good enough . because of the technolgy in the camara , and because of what it can do do . the batteries have to be the best . their will be more power comeing out of the camara and excceds the battereis. its like a mobile phone , the phone is a 16 volt batteri and you plug a 5 voult charger in the phone . it gets realy hot because their is insufficaint charger for the volt . we wiill have almost blew the charge on the batteris aswell as the connection on the camara or ie [phone]. leave for 24 hours and then try the rechargeable energizer 2000 plus is one of the best .replace the old for new and try the enegizers

Battery Dont Charge

jpierre's solution (in another thread) was right on the money. Touch the positive (+)end of the 9v battery to the positive (+) end of the camera battery.Leave them touching for a few seconds (10 seconds should be more thansufficient). Seems these lithium-ion batteries are subject to a'digital memory.' Subjecting it to a volt surge almost three timeshigher seems to clear it.

In short, it works like a charm.
