Is it a tiny black dot? about one pixel? That is whats referred to as a dead pixel it happens on LCD nothing can be done of it but to replace the LCD screen. Usually you can just bare with it and wait til there are a few dead pixels before worrying about it. Thanks, Lee

That's called backlight bleed. It's a known issue with certain models of the LED screens. I had a similar issue with my previous laptop, a Lenovo G560. The only solution is to replace the screen.
A large black spot usually means the LCD screen is damaged. It may have fine cracks around the black spot. In this case the LCD screen needs to be replaced. A replacement screen maybe available for your laptop from this WEB site. LCD screens and Inverterswww.lcdparts.net
It maybe just a simple driver issue. For you to be able to verify it, you ill need to access the BIOS to check if the black spots are still there.Please follow these steps,there are different way od going to BIOS depending on the brand of the laptop.

Turn on your computer

Hold down F2, this will take you into BIOS. On some computers it might be the DEL key, or F1.
If the black spot is not there, you can go ahead and update the driver of the display...

Lenovo will be albe to fix that over the phone if its just a software problem, but if its a hardware problem, you will need to contact them to process a depot service so that they can replaced the LCD itself...

You would have to disassemble the screen in order to clean it. There are layers in the front of the screen, what you see is where the liquid got in between the layers. Screens can be taken apart, but it's not recommended.
