Run no heat

Common faults -
1 The heating elements can fail (meaning open circuit)
2 There are cut-outs (T.O.C's) that might need resetting
3 The thermostats (stats) can trip out or burn out (meaning opencircuit)
4 Moderntumble dryers also have sensors and pcb's (Printed circuitboards) thesehave programs that can fail and circuitry although most should produce an errorcode showing you were the fault is.
5 Faultyconnections and burned wires may also be the fault.

Need location of a Lexmark repair facility

There are various service centers around the country. Since I don't know where you are, I can't tell you which one is closest. One authorized service center is located in Orlando, FL. Here is the address and phone number:
Lexmark Authorized Service Center 4071 L B McLeod Rd
Orlando, FL 32811
Phone: (407) 839-3977

If you're on the west coast or not near Orlando, let me know and I'll try to point you to a closer center.

I hope this helps! If it does, please rate the solution. My goal is always FixYa or Helpful, never TFT or IA. Regards,
Char1ieJ

Fisher and Paykel DEGX1 Electric Dryer Stays Warm

Yes, get a new element. The reason it's on all the time is because the element coils have broken and one of the coils is touching the canister that encloses it. This creates a direct short to ground. By the way, the element has 120 volts to it all the time. It will only HEAT when 240 is applied through the centrifugal switch of the motor. Your 120 volts is shorting to ground... not enough amps to trip the circuit breaker, but enough to glow the element.
