Question about Baby Gear
My daughters older brother took apart her rear wheel coaster brake on her bike I am trying to put it back together but since I was not around when he took it apart so I am trying to find any type of reassembly instructions and possibly a parts list so I see if he lost any parts
SOURCE: Front wheel wobbles
More than likely the wheel is out of true. There are 2 choices,
1 Buy a spoke wrench and attemp to true the wheel. You can do this by spinning the wheel to locate the spot where the wheel goes furthest to one side then tighten the spoke coming from the opposite side. Do this slowly 1/2 turn at a time. Do not over tighten the spoke. It may be necessary to loosen the other side slightly.
Alternate spokes between both sides of wobble.
2 Take bike to a good local bike shop to be tuned and have the wheels trued. Most shops offer a tune up at low cost. A well tuned bike will last a long time.

The bikes are pre-assembled by a machine that overtightens the rear axle. I had the same problem with my daugher's 12 inch huffy princess bike and my other duaghter's 16 inch Schwinn bike. If you loosen the nuts on the back axle it fixes the problem. I have read that the idea thing for these bike is to have them re-assembled and re-lubricated by a bike shop, but I thought this might cost as much as I paid for the bike.
