    Denon CD-Receiver RCD-M33.

I have the same problem. There is a CD in but the eject button only displays DEMO MODE when pressed.

    Anyone solved this?

I had exactly the same problem and searched on line for solutions. Found instructions to change fuses but this involved soldering etc. and sounded complicated. Followed oxleymike's instructions and it worked perfectly! Try this before you start taking it apart!

Hold the function button in while it says CD.
Turn the machine off then on.
Try to eject now.
Worked for me.

This was achieved accidentally so if it doesn't work first time, try various combinations using these two buttons.

A liitle more on this. Holding the function button when turning the machine on will toggle between normal and demo mode. The screen will still say demo mode until you press the eject button.

If it doesn't eject the first time press the off button and then hold the function button and turn it on again and press eject. BINGO!

This is not documented in the manual.

My denon rcd-m35dab, there is disc in and plays ok but cannot open the drawer it just shuts down/turns itself off

Check the belt or drive that is responsible for opening up the disk tray. If it is slipping the disk will not come out.

Denon CD not switching on

The lightening causes a strong electro magnetic field to build up very quick and also break down. This pulse can induce a huge current in electronic equipment, causing damage in semiconductors.
The damage can be in any of the components in your Denon. It also could be only one semiconductor. FET's and MOS FET's are the most vulnerable.
Without a service manual, tools and the Denon on my desk it would be impossible to tell what is damaged.
But I would trust not any component in the player.
Also read ESD and what happens direct and what can happen when times goes bye.

The reciver is stuck in demo mode. Can`t get it out of demo mode.

The demonstration will activate the first time you turn on
the power. When the demonstration starts, the following
message appears in the display:

“NOW DEMONSTRATION MODE IF YOU FINISH DEMONSTRATION PLEASE PRESS POWER KEY WHILE THIS MESSAGE APPEARS IN THE DISPLAY THANK YOU”

To cancel the demonstration
Press the Power 1/0 button to turn the receiver off while the above message is being displayed. The next time you turn the receiver on, the demonstration will not appear.

It's in the manual - page 3.

CD DRAWER DOESNT OPEN

Is there a small hole on the front of the load tray? If there is use a straightened out paperclip to push into the hole to remove the stuck cd. That might help you out.

I have a Pioneer XC-F10 Stereo CD Tuner. I keep trying to turn it on and it keeps turning off immediately...?

I Have managed to solve my instant turning off fault. As its been mentioned before, this is a demo mode fault, heres what I did...

Leave the Unit in standby, and press and hold the "system menu" button you should see the words "demo mode" flash up on the display briefly, at this point press the "set" button to enter demo mode selection finally press the "+" or "-" button to turn the demo mode off.

You have to be quick with the remote buttons when getting into the demo mode, might take a few trys.

I'm not sure if this will fix everyones fault, but certainly helped with mine. Good Luck.

I have a Denon RCD M33. It will turn on no problem but as soon as I press the eject button so that I can insert a CD it turns itself off.

I had to press all the eject, play and stop buttons simultaneously whilst at the same time pressing the on button.
