There is power at the outlet but does not seem to be power to the machine. What can I do. I removed the front panel to see if anything was stuck and everything appears to be fine. Is that a fuse or breaker switch I could check

You can reset the machine by following the instruction on the owner's manual.

My washer makes a loud buzzing noise model Fridgidaire GLTF2940FE

Good Afternoon Friend,

I understand that your Frigidaire washer, model# GLTF2940FE, will lock the door, start buzzing, and not start the cycle. I suggest resetting your appliance, be either unplugging it or shutting the power off at your home's circuit breaker, for 3-5 minutes. Restore power and start any cycle. I ask that you please follow up with a comment on the post, at your convenience, to advise if further troubleshooting is needed or if your appliances status has changed successfully. Hope this is helpful.

-Best Regards-

the buzzing noise is the pump trying to work, but it cannot due to a blockage. unplug the washer and you can lean the washer backwards and remove the pump to unblock. the fill error is probably unrelated, and is an inlet valve issue.

Washing machine won't empty making buzzing noise and coming up with f.05

looks like your drain filter is clogged. There could be cents, matches or something like that. All this stuff do not let to spin drain motor clearly.

Kenmore 80 series washer won't spin just makes a loud buzzing noise.

Possible that the motor is not moving , could be a faulty capacitor to the motor. Also check for the free movement of the agitator, if the shaft is tight then it can cause a drag on the motor.

Washer fills, agitates, won't spin. Makes buzzing noise. Amana LWA50AW

Most likely it could be the forward belt . When the machine is under load you hear a winding noise it sounds like the pulley belt tensioner. One other thing to check the rinse and hold button is activated as in the past accidentally people have switched it off.

Dryer makes loud noise when operated.

Get your model number and get a set of glides or drum bearings, whichever your unit uses. Don't let this go too long or your drum could be ruined.

After power outtage my f/p washer is dead -no lights nothing

Only reset is to unplug it. Are you sure you have power at the outlet? If you have 120V at the outlet the power surge may have blown the controller, not a cheap fix :(
