Audio cuts in and out but only when watching TV.(from day one July17th/08)

SamsungHDTV:PCL545R rear projection withHDTV Scientific Atlanta HD3250 cable box and .HTX50.

Troubleshooting:Tried everything replaced the HTX50 with another new unit, replaced Cable box (Scientific AtlantaHD3250 with another new one and also replaced the fibre optic cable from the HD3250 to HTX50 . Checked all the speaker wires.

The only thing I haven't replaced is the TV.

Updated the firmware (available in Samsung website) for theHTX50 The firmware update didn't do much but there seems to be a slight improvement.

I also had a Rogers tech come out and test my cable signal for strength and he says the signal is good .

Samsung tech support refuses to even consider that their HTX50 might be part of the problem.

I guess I can still use it to watch DVDs and listen to my FM stations.

Very frustrating when you pay money and end up buying a problem.

Ya, I have the same exact problem. I heard that the problem could be because of a faulty power supply on the inside of it. I'm not positive of that though. But thats what I heard.

Need user manual & a remote control for Haier sound bar SBC32.

Set-up (Programming) procedure is too much to type in here, and is not practical and it will differ brand-to-brand remote controls. If you wish to get more; check the sites linked here. It has set-up code list & set-up procedure to many popular brand remote controls. One among it has general set-up codes to check with TVs and other devices are given, in the order of the 'device's brand name list' in alphabetical order. Pull up older posts. Search the sites by type in the brand name to your device in its search box at the top right part of the display window. It will help you to find the document easily.

Programming Notes
• If your device does not respond to the remote after trying all codes listed or your brand is not listed in the code list, use the Auto Code Search method to program your remote.
• Sometimes the first code that "works" with your device may operate only a few functions of your device. There may be another code in the code list that performs more functions. Try other codes from the code list for more functionality.
This is a trial and error procedure; and quiet time consuming. You might have to check different codes said for your device.
Search the site by type in the "brand name" to your device; in the "Search box at the top right of the display window " to get gathered related posts.

Unit intermittently makes the TV flicker the sound and picture.

I would be checking and trying new leads from the antenna part of your telly to where they go into the wall , we had a problem with a new tv that used to turn itself off and on we got the tv replaced with another new one and it still did it . it turned out to be a faulty cable from the pay tv box on top of the telly as they emit FM waves just like the radio and it was sending signals to the remote on the tv to turn it off

No sound through Bravia speakers after BOSE removed.

Did you ever have audio through your tv before?
It's likely that your Comcast cable box was connected directly to your Bose system, and not your television.
You'll need to check the connections from your cable box, to your television.

Remote code SAMSUNG

I have a samsung HT-AS720S surround system it is 21 months old. the right speaker has popping and static coming from it, had to disconnect it. Moved wire to another speaker-same thing. Contacted samsung tech to help, went through a number of test they said I have to send it in for repair. Warranty is only one year.
I also have a problem with the sound when watching tv it goes from normal to very quit, it's irritating-no matter how high I turn it up the base goes up but volume stays down. On shows that are on DVR all sound is good. Watching a DVD is also good.
Please help

DVD'S stop playing

Hey folks,

I have a Lifestyle 48 with the same issue. I spoke to tech support at Bose and had it explained to me this way. My Lifestyle 48 was purchased in 2006, but the hard drive and the optical reader were from as far back as 2004. Well since that point most new DVD's are double embedded, if I remember correctly. Now the manufacturers embed more information on the DVD in a double layer. They stick all those director's cuts and all the other **** that no one watches all on one DVD now instead of requiring two or three DVD's. Ultimately, this f***s up your Bose system. As for me, every DVD that I try to watch now freezes up at some point and gives me a Cannot Read error. The tech I spoke with at Bose said this is an industry wide problem and he had the same problem with his XBox. It has become so prevalent that Microsoft is now saying not to use the XBox to play DVD's. The tech I spoke with said they could send me a firmware update, but there is no guarantee that it will correct the problem. His suggestion was to have the system in to have the guts replaced. This is something that Bose is doing free of charge plus they give you a new 1 year warranty on the new parts. Since I spoke to them they have sent a box to my house with all the packing material. My job is to pack up the main unit and ship it off to Framingham, MA. I have been told that repairs and returns are currently taking 3 to 4 weeks. I do suggest you call Bose, talk to them and they will take it from there. In my case they are definitely standing behind their product. Good luck.

Bose lifestyle 38 system, sound problems

Call Bose and get the latest software for your system. This will solve the problem.
Details:
I had the exact same problem with my Lifestyle 48 system connected to a Dish Networks satellite box (Vip622). The sound would continually switch between 'Dolby Digital 2.0', 'Dolby Digital' and 'Dolby Digital 5.1'.
I called Bose Tech Support and they had me reset all of the components. This helped for a short time but it was still happening. They told me that the problem was with the Satellite box, since the Bose system just output what it was receiving and didn't do anything else. We also determined that my system software was quite old. They said that the software wouldn't make any difference, but I got them to send it out anyway.
Well, when the new software update arrived, I installed it on my Bose system and have not had any audio switching problems. So the Bose system software update seemed to fix the problem.
