Question about NEC USHIO PROJECTOR LAMP, Projector Lamp FOR MT1000/MT810, 250 WTS, 1500 HRS => Model 500081
I got this projector off ebay lol and i was told on the auction that there was a slight blur to an image presented on this projector cause of its age. I didn think it was like this, im sure they wernt talking about this kind of problem. They suggested a clean and a service but what do use think will resolve the problem
If the light is blinking red, it means the projector has a bad lamp or the lamp housing is incorrectly attached.

If this happens, be sure to replace the lamp. If you continue to use the lamp after 2000 hours of use, the lamp bulb may shatter, and pieces of glass may be scattered in the lamp case.
To replace the lamp:

SOURCE: hi there! i have this
It sounds like a polarising lens has failed, if so it will probably be cheaper to buy a new NEC NP115 which has probably got the same if not better specification.
Hopefully I was of help to you
