Ipod in car tuning problem

My new car (C3 Airplay) came with an ipod and dock pre-fitted in car. It plays through a radio station (garage suggests 87.7) but it often doesn't work. Today got a very bad radio station instead of ipod music. Tuned to 92.4 which was OK but with a bit of interference. A nuisance to tune manually every time. Any suggestions please?

Can you connect an ipod or iphone to a phase linear uv9 radio

There are FM modulation modules that can be purchased to add an ipod to just about any radio. The module goes inline with your vehicles FM antenna. Once installed, you tune to a pre-determined station to play your ipod through. These are available online. If your radio has ipod capability, it should have come with an auxillary cable for such.

How do i get the radio to work

Hello,

Besides playing your favorite songs and custom playlists, you can also listen to your favorite DJs and talk shows on your iPod Nano by using it as a radio.

The iPod Radio Remote is a small and convenient accessory that lets you tune in to live radio when you're on the go, and also allows you to remotely control your iPod. Here is how you can easily setup Radio Remote on your iPod Nano and start using it as a radio.

  1. Connect the ipod Radio Remote to your iPod Nano by plugging it into the dock connector. Plug your headphones into the port at the top of the Radio Remote, next to the hold switch.
  2. Once the Radio Remote is connected, select "Music" and then "Radio" on your iPod. The Radio Remote will automatically tune in to the first available station it finds. The iPod screen will show the radio station and any other available information or data.
  3. Press the center button on the iPod. Use your iPod click wheel to find other stations. Once you have found your favorite station, hold the "Center" button down until a triangle appears on the radio dialer on your iPod screen.
  4. Once you have set up all of your favorite radio stations, use the "Next/Fast-Forward" or "Previous/Rewind" buttons to navigate between them.
Good luck.

Speakers won't work when Ipod is docked

The problem is that Atlec Lansing used a low quality (piece of ****) plug/interface for the dock. If you pull the top of the ipod forward while it is pressed fully onto the docking station, you'll get a surprise. It will work. This problem stumped me for days. Now, the next question is how much tension is the proper amount not to degrade the cheap plug further or damage the ipod itself.

Cheers,
Jeff

Ipod nano not charging on docking system, it has low battery if none, can play with a little charge on ipod but has to be charged with plug first, the docking system is brand new aswell and is charging...

for some **** reason the new ipod nano (4th generation) does not support FireWire and therefore will not charge on any docking station that is a FireWire power sorce - which seems to be most of them out there!
have same problem so will end up charging from computer as docking station still plays the new nano, no point in buying new docking station just for sake of charging!

Why wont it play???

Hi Jacqui h,

I assume this is a RF system that inputs through the FM aerial.

The instructions should give you a specific frequency.
You will have to tune the radio manually to this frequency and select a pre-set number.
