SOURCE: leak water on floor once a month

This likely a defrost cycle issue. Your drain tube is likely clogged. Get under there and clean it, clean your condenser while you're at it. Cut down door openings, open liquid in the fridge.

SOURCE: WHIRLPOOL CONTROL PANEL

Hi. Your temperature control board display is bad. You may also have a power convertor board located next to the compressor. Normally you would replace the temperature control board first. I have a temperature control board listed on Ebay as item number 250211412492. Good luck, Mack

Please see potential solutions at diychatroom.com. Do a search on "whirlpool fridge flickering". I had the same problem, and the solutions worked - can save you the price of a board.

SOURCE: WHIRLPOOL AMERICAN SIDE BY SIDE FRIDGE /FREEZER

I had probably the same problem. After a little discussion with the factory they sent a technician as a "Good Will Gesture." The technician told me it was the control board down by the compressor. I overheard a conversation between he and his central repair office that it was a common problem. The factory would not admit it. I have a feeling the electronic control board he replace (which would have cost several hundred bucks) was probably made in China. Now I'm having more problems with my Ohio made Whirlpool side-by-side. The freezer is working fine, the fridge is not very cold. By the way, the internal lights was one of the keys to the problems.

CSCP5UGXSS water temp

Hello dharitos1. I understand you are concerned about the temperature of the water in your refrigerator. Since the line runs through the door, the water will be slightly chilled, but will not be cold. You may need to run the water through a couple of cycles to get the chilled water. This is normal. I hope this information is helpful. Sincerely, Melanie, Whirlpool Social media group.

My wife opened the refrig. door and saw a blue flash now all the lights in the refrig side are out and the temp gage indicator lights are out as well.

Blue flash sounds like an electrical short (spark) that blew a fuse or tripped a breaker.
Is the machine running? You need to unplug and check the switch that turns the light on and the lamp socket itself for frayed or broken wires befoe restting breaker or replacing fuse. Once your electrical problem is resolved you can reapply power

How to replacemale gear for ice auger on 2003 whirlpool side by s

Here is a place that has an exploded view of your icemaker, and mounting: http://www.pcappliancerepair.com/model-display.php
On the left side of the page, scroll that view down until you see the freezer door parts, and click on the words. This will bring up the proper view where you can see where the screws etc are that hold the unit in.

They, as well as the several other places I checked, show the auger motor as a sealed unit, that you get to by removing the icemaker from the door.

GD2SHA WHIRLPOOL ICEMAKER NO ICE

The most likely cause is the water solenoid behind the fridge. Take an ohm meter and test across the two terminals and it should NOT ohm out (beep). If it does not ohm out I would replace the P.C. Board kit, emitter & receiver icemaker control

Freezer keeps beeping and switching off

Next time this happens unplug it for about 10 minutes. When you plug it back up you should be able to turn it back on normally. This resets the board, much like restarting your computer. If the problem happens again, you will probably have to replace the board. You also want to make sure you have a good ground on the circuit and a steady power supply without too much fluctuation. Hope this helps.
