The hydraulic pump does not shut off and the lift arms will not go down on my d19 allis chalmers tractor.

try this
get the name of the manufacturer of the hydraulic pump used by the tractor company and get it from that web site
it is most like a vickers made pump and that will be stamped in the housing along with the model

the firing order is 1-5-3-6-2-4

First, a cyl. repair rebuilt kit. The cyl. shoud have pins on each end. Remove cotter pin hen remove pins.

I would try checking the remote valves, maybe undo the line at each one and see where your pressure is stopped and maybe you can work down to where whitch with valve is not working..

hi , replace your hydraulic oil filter and pump and renew the oil .

can be a lot of different problems-check fluid level if low fill to proper level --leak in hydro line-check all lines for leak--air in system -bleed system -wrong hydro fluid in system-check for correct fluid---seal at pump leaking-check around pump--controls leaking not holding allowing back pressure--test controls for internal leaks repair or replace if necessary--hydro pump internal malfunction/valves/piston/gears-pressure test repair or replace if necessary

It looks if there is a pressure relief valve on the pump as I can see on the picture? If your problem isn't solved yet, please give me the pump manufacturer and type or the hydraulic scheme.
