My desktop image shifts as I move my mouse arrow around the screen. How do I stablize the image

If the arrow does not appear, it usually means that Windows did not detect a mouse. A quick and easy way to test this is to plug in a USB mouse from a desktop computer. If your arrow returns, that confirms Windows does not see your mouse. If this *is* the case, then go into the BIOS screen (F2? when booting) and look through the menus to make sure mouse is enabled. Also make sure to look for an option under "Dock" that says something like disable mouse when docked. If plugging in a USB mouse does not make the pointer re-appear, then you may have windows problems. I'd try easy things first, like re-installing the mouse driver for your laptop. This especially if you have a fancy driver for multi-finger gestures 8-). While you work on this, try the Tab and ALT-Tab keys to move the focus around on your desktop. The Start menu also springs up with the Windows key. Space and Enter are like clicking. ALT-Enter like right-clicking.

Use this method to print screen.
Press and hold down the Alt key and the press the PrtSc key, this places thescreen image into the Clipboard. .
Open a blank Word document and then Click on Edit - Paste.
The image is then places onto this page, you can up the image by holdingdown the Shift key and then place the cursor on the bottom corner of the image,then press the left mouse button and drag it down to the right, release themouse button when you have d the image to your requirements.
NOTE - Holding down the Shift button will maintain the image in the correctproportion.
You can now print this image document and or add text before printing.

I think what you have done is accidently magnified your screen slightly. To correct this hold down your ctrl key on your keyboard and move your finger on the mouse scroll button back. Hope this helps.

The mouse is used by people to navigate around the operating system like Windows.

There are a number of buttons on the mouse, Left Click, Right Click, Scroll Wheel and Wheel Click.

Your index finger operates the Left Click and you middle finger operates the Right Click and Scroll Wheel.

The mouse, when moved in turn moves whats known as a cursor on the screen, it's that arrow.

Think of the cursor as your pointing finger.

Is your screen image also magnified?
It sounds like you accidentally zoomed the screen, which you can do by holding down the control key at the same time you are rolling the wheel on the mouse. When you do that, the screen will follow your mouse so that you can access portions of the screen that have "zoomed off."
Hold down the control key and roll the mouse wheel until you have zoomed all the way back in. Alternatively, visit System Preferences / Universal Access and modify the Zoom options to suit yourself.

On my shuttle, there is a combination of button to turn the screen 90 degrees to the left or right. Something Like CTRL + ALT + Up Arrow or CTRL + SHIFT + arrow or ALT + SHIFT + Arrow , to rotate to different angle , also there are Viewing options in your display drivers. In the ATI control panel, there is a tab rotation to rotate the desktop 90 degrees to the right or left or 180 °
