Cd stuck in my Dual XD5120 cd player in my car.

Heyyy.
I have a 96 Jeep Cherokee and today I put a CD in to play into my
CD player, and it worked. But when I went to eject that CD, it will not eject
and if I try to play the same CD, all I get is an Err message. The radio works fine, its just the stuck CD that is causing my problems.

I have a 2005 Chrysler 300 with a 6 disk radio/CD player/tape player. The CD stopped playing and the disks won't eject. I thing I will have to remove the radio from the car to clear the jam. Did anyone do this?

The same CD has been stuck in my JVC CD player for months. It plays as though there is nothing wrong, but will not eject. I want to hear any other CD than this one now! The face can be detached and reattatched and no change. The disc plays but cannot be ejected.

Hi these rados are madeby alpine, a manual reste of the cd player normally fixes the problem.
but its not easy and is best done by a service Centre

If the cd player has failed about the only way to retrieve the disc is to take apart the player

and

METRA Wire harness
#70-1761 (non-amplified factory radio)
or

Cd player not playing

I would go to walmart and buy the disc....its like $10 and made by phillps. After you just put it in your disc slot and it plays you should hear some guy tellin you that its cleaned....this happened on my 2001 Jeep Liberty so it should work

Radio works but cd plays with no sound

you probably have your amp hooked up to your power antenna remote. there should be another blue wire (probably blue with a white stripe) that is for amp remote.

DO NOT HAVE NAVIGATION CD FOR MY 2004 JEEP CHEROKEE LIMITED

got mine off ebay for a decent price.  you can also order through the dealership.  if you order a newer one (make sure it is for the jeep) it will make some minor changes (upgrades) to your radio.

My 1998 Jeep Cherokee cd player does not work, displays "error when cd inserted, the radio works fine, can it be repair?

it will read burnt cds, the only thing is that it will not play .mp3  format songs, if you can somehow change the format to something else it should work just fine. i had a friend who's car had the same problem and switching the file extension from .mp3 to something else like .mpeg or something else should work. the cd player in a 98 grand cherokee is older and does not have .mp3 play back on it so it cannot read .mp3 format files. that's the only reason it doesnot register. try different audi files out and it should work. give it a try. i hope that helps out some.
