Try this link, leave them an email but you will need to measure your screen size top to bottom and side to side just the visible screen area then leave them a email at the site they will get back to you soon.

srobinsota,

Available at http://www.encompass.com. I have a tip at http://www.fixya.com/support/r6210638-replace_broken_projection_tv_screen which should help with the removal and replacement procedure.

Thanks for using FixYa and for the great rating. Please consider a testimonial.

Tp50h50 toshiba 50 in tv i need a part number for the screen behind the plastic screen this would be the center screen and where i can get one

Part number should be 23837513.

Checked four different distributors and as far as I can tell none of the screens for this television are available. If you are handy with a tape measure and have a screen bigger than yours from another set you can cut it down to fit. Just measure from the corners to find the center then measure out to the dimensions you need to replace the old one.

Toshiba screen removal

Remove the front speaker grill, remove the front access plate. Undo the front control panel wire harness via plug connector, undo convergence sensor wire harness via plug connector, remove screws holding bottom screen frame. Screen should come off with frame. Some models have retainer clips that hold frame to the front of the cabinet and you must pull the frame off these retainers but I do not think that is the case with this one.
Hope this helps,

the only fast solution is to go to an authorized TOSHIBA dealer repair shop and have it order it , warning the screen is expensive as I found out when I needed one too ( i own a 55" TOSHIBA ) it could cost around $200.00 up to $400.00. hope this info helps

Toshiba TP50H50

Hi There!

I am not familiar with this model, however if there are no screws or clips on the inside or side panels, the front would be the place to start. usually right at the bottom front are screws to remove the bottom front panel first. Then the rest will be exposed. Work your way from the bottom up. The screen itself will be last and normally hooks over the top frame. Good Luck, JUS004

Toshiba TP 50H50 Blank Screen

IT sounds like you lost your high voltage going to the picture tubes. This could be due either to part of the main power supply going out due to a defective capicator or semiconductor, or something more serious in the High voltage distribution network. With the age of the set, I would be most inclined to replace it with a new HDTV, and Toshiba still are pretty reliable sets. If you can afford it, a Sony KDS-55A20 puts out a beautiful picture for around $2300.
