Hi there

Today I am going to show you how to get your Targus Stowaway Keyboard to run on your Pocket Pc! Go to http://www.limewire.com and simply download Lime Wire, once you have done so, search for Targus Stowaway Keyboard Driver for Pocket Pc (I searched for: Targus Stowaway Keyboard Driver for Compaq Ipaq H3630 Pocket Pc), as this is my Pocket Pc model and make. Then go to http://www.google.com and search for Microsoft Activesync, find a website where you can download this for free and then download it and set it up and have it in "sync" with your Pocket Pc. Then, while you are still in Lime Wire, open the file you just downloaded and let it do it's thing, once you have done this, your Desktop Pc and your Pocket Pc will tell you to reset the device (Your Pocket Pc), when it tells you to do this, it does not mean you must do a "Hard Reset" (A "Hard Reset" is when you switch off the device at the bottom of the pocket pc, which makes you lose all of your programmes and all the stuff you have on your Pocket Pc) what it means is that you must turn off your device at the on/off button at the top of your device and then turn it back on. Now your keyboard should work! Once you have done all of this, you might have a problem with your menu (Your menu is in the middle of your screen), to fix this problem go to "Settings" and click on "Menus", once this has opened, search for "Stowaway" and un-tick the box next to it. If you have any more problems or questions about your Compaq Ipaq Pocket Pc or your Targus Stowaway Keyboard please send me an e-mail at dustin_ellse@yahoo.co.uk

Kind regards
Dustin Ellse

My Dell monitor blacked out. It has a wireless keyboard.

I would go to the manufacture's website and download the driver and at least rule that out as the problem.

My computer stopped recognizing my wireless keyboard & mouse. Says it's missing a driver or that the device is malfunctioning. Don't think it's a battery prob. Do I need a new driver?...

Uninstall the Keyboard driver.
Unplug the Logitech keyboard.
Restart the computer.
Plug the Logitech keyboard back into the computer.
Windows should recognise the keyboard and/or the mouse.
Place Logitech setup disk in drive.
Reload the drivers...

The drivers sometimes corrupt themselves..
You might download the latest drivers for your keyboard/mouse.

My keyboard is n't typing? I have a laptop.

reinstall the driver ..and check the plugs for proper insert ...if there was a problem and you started the pc ..and do not sow the device ...( problem like unpluging ..or out of batteries..) it is the chance that you need to go to the device manager ..and update the driver ...( from the disc ) or automatically cause the driver is still installed into the pc ...

Logitech wireless keyboard

  1. Here's a few generic troubleshooting steps for a wireless keyboard you can go through.
  2. I assume its RF wireless since you did not mention Bluetooth. It operates at 27Mhz which makes it susceptible to interference from common consumer electronics, so make sure area is clean of any electronic devices.
  3. Some wireless keyboard models provide a channel selection switch to switch to other channels to escape interference
  4. Having the wrong driver or missing Driver will cause it to not work. Go to device manager, find your keyboard device, right-click on it and update driver. Also you can uninstall the driver, then reboot and plug and play should pick it up and load driver. Or re-install original driver if it was on a disc. Driver is important so do all you can with the options you see. Well that's it, good luck, and let me know how it turned out.

My wireless keyboard stopped working it is a A4tech RFKB-21

The first thing you should try is unplugging the wireless adapter and plugging it back in. If that doesn't work, try uninstalling the wireless driver (from the device manager. You can find the device manager in the control panel), unplugging the keyboard first of course. After the driver has been installed, plug the keyboard back in and allow the windows 'found new hardware' to install the driver again. The 'found new hardware' dialog is automatic, so all you have to do is plug the keyboard in.

If windows cant find the driver, or has a problem for any reason, you can find your driver at:

http://www.findmysoft.com/drivers/A4tech-RFKB-5-Wireless-Keyboard-driver.html

and install it manually (it installs like any other software).

If your keyboard is still not working, check for any manual locks that might prevent the keyboard from being used normally. Look for an unrecognized key, a switch, or an LED light that might have a picture of a lock. Unfortunately, I can't pull up any pictures of your keyboard, so I don't know if it has one or not.

You might also want to try another usb device (a flash drive or another usb keyboard, if you have one) to make sure that the usb ports aren't the culprits.

I hope this helps, and good luck!
