Pop up install printer window at boot ups

I have two HP printers. An old HP IIIp laser (Parallel port) and a HP Photosmart 3210 (USB). My problem is not with the printers but with my XP Pro setup of the printers. Everytime I boot up I get two installation windows to install "the printer". They pop up consecutively one after the other. I simply cancel the windows on every boot. The fact of the matter is that the two printers are already installed and work perfectly. Does anyone know how I can get rid of these printer installation messages? (without reinstalling the OS or my HP software)

When I print with my Epson Stylus 740i ink jet printer, ink blots get on the copies and on the printer as each copy comes out. Any suggestions/advice.

How do I connect my wireless laptop to the hp photosmart 3210?

If the printer doesn't already have network capability, you'll need to use a USB print server. Here's an example. You connect the server to one of the router's wired ports, and then any network computer (wired or wireless) will be able to print to the printer.

LaserJet IIIp will not print using USB to parallel cable via Vista

DOT4 USB Printing support must be installed and the printer setup on a USB port in the printer manager for this to work. The laserjet 3p driver provided by Microsoft does not natively support DOT4 USB printing, as USB was not even invented when that printer came out. You might be able to enable this support by using the HP Universal print Driver instead of the built in driver provided. You can get the universal driver here:

HP Lazerjet IIIp driver for Windows XP

I just looked at windows xp and the drivers for HP Laserjet IIIP are included with windows xp.
Go to START, SETTINGS, PRINTERS and FAXES (if using the classic menu, I'm not using the XP menu system or go to the control panel, select classic icons and select Printers and Faxes either way will work. ) once inside the printer and faxes window, choose "Add Printer" Click NEXT, click Local Printer, click NEXT, click the port you will be using (With that old of a printer methinks it will be LPT1:) click NEXT, The driver selection screen will come up, Choose HP on the left hand side of that screen and HP LaserJet IIIP is on the bottom part of the list on the right hand side of the screen (They are not listed in number order like you might assume they are). Click HP LaserJet IIIP and click NEXT, It will ask for a printer name and you can keep the default name, Click either yes or no about the question "do you want to use this printer as the default printer?" and click NEXT, Click if you are going to share the printer and click NEXT, answer "Do you want to print a test page?" click NEXT and it should install the drivers for that printer and print a test page once installed. Then click FINISH on the last page and your printer should be installed.

HP Laser Jet 1320n series

The HP LaserJet 1320 has a USB port and a Parallel port.

The HP LaserJet 1320n has a USB port and an Ethernet port.

USB-to-Parallel converter cables, like this one, are designed to attach a parallel device to a computer's USB port.

But you need to do the opposite (attach a USB device to a computer's parallel port). A USB-to-Parallel converter cable will not do this.

It want Install...!!

Go to this website if you haven't installed the software. Download the driver and then install it, and the installation should walk you through the process. If it doesn't detect the printer, it could be a bad cable. Make sure that the cables are inserted tightly and the power is on. Hope this helps!
