Cannot uninstall Belkin. The uninstall file could not be found

this thing happens when you delete the folder in which your files for the program are stored.
or in case you delete the uninstall.exe file.
the program has already been removed from your hard disk, what remains is just the entry in windows registry.
when you uninstall a program, the registry entry is also deleted, so its recommended to always uninstall the program rather simply deleting the program folder.
Nevermind, in your case you can delete the program folder in case you still have it, and the windows entry can be fixed by any registry fixing software like 'Advance System Optimizer'

Hi.

If you are unable to uninstall the software by way of 'Add or Remove Programs' or 'Programs and Features', it will be necessary for you to perform a manual uninstall by searching the hard drive for files and folders related to the program you want to uninstall. then manually removing those files and folders.
Many programs will install files and folders in several locations on the hard drive. And, even when it is possible to uninstall software by way of 'Add or Remove Programs' or 'Programs and Features', it is always a good idea to conduct a search of the entire hard drive then manually delete any files, folders, icons and shortcuts that are found by that search because many uninstall processes do not remove all files, folders, desktop icons and Start menu shortcuts associated with the software.
After making sure that all files, folders, icons and shortcuts have been removed from the computer, empty the Recycle Bin, restart the computer, then run a registry cleaner until no invalid registry entries are found. It is advisable to run the registry cleaner REPEATEDLY (always restart the computer before running the registry cleaner again) because fixing some invalid registry entries can cause other registry entries to become invalid.

If you are uninstalling the program because you believe that the installation is corrupt, these steps are especially important . Making sure that all files, folders, icons and shortcuts are manually deleted and using a registry cleaner to remove all invalid registry entries is the best way to ensure that all corruptioIf you don't have a registry cleaner installed on your computer, you can download the free CCleaner by clicking on the link below

Download Latest Version of CCleaner

If you use CCleaner, you must remember to click on the 'Registry' button on the left side of the window before starting the scan. And, with CCleaner, running the registry cleaner repeatedly will often cause the same invalid registry entries to be displayed over and over. If that happens more than twice, the only option is to allow those invalid registry entries to remain - because indications are that those invalid registry entries are not truly
invalid at all.

There is also an option to try and uninstall a program using CCleaner. If you click on "Tools" option on the left hand side, click on "Uninstall" and look down that list for Creatacard and try and uninstall the software using that option.

The 'Cleaner' option in CCleaner is a very useful tool for cleaning out unnecessary files and folders on the hard drive. So, it is also be a good idea to run the 'Cleaner' option in addition to the 'Registry' option.

Once you are sure that all traces have been removed restart your computer and proceed to re-install the software again.

Hope this helps.

Not respoding dvd drive

I have fixed a similar issue before on a co-worker's laptop. With what little information you provided, I believe it to be the same issue. His DVD drive would not show up in My Computer or Device Manager. I couldn't get it to play any disks and even removing and reinstalling it didn't work. I didn't solve the problem and get it to work until I made changes in the registry.

This issue is caused by two corrupt entries in the registry and the fix is fairly easy as long as you follow directions precisely.

Whether you're using XP or Vista, you will follow the same exact steps:

Again, this issue is caused by corrupt entries in the registry, therefore, you will have to go into the registry to make changes. Please be VERY careful when working in the registry.

ALWAYS CREATE A FULL BACKUP WHEN MAKING ANY CHANGES TO YOUR SYSTEM. When modifying the registry, you can also create a backup of the registry only and restore it from the backup if any issues occur.

These steps work both in Vista and XP. REMEMBER! Your ONLY mission here is to remove these corrupt registry entries (if they exist). DO NOT touch any other entries in the registry.

1. Click Start then click All Programs

2. Click Accessories then click Run

3. Type regedit into the text box then click OK

4. In the navigation pane,on the left, locate HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE then click the folder to open it and find the SYSTEM folder.
Click the SYSTEM folder then go to the folder named CurrentControlSet and click it.
Drill down to the folder named Class then click it.
Within the Class folder, you will see several folders named with a series of alphanumeric characters enclosed in {} brackets.
Find the one labeled {4D36E965-E325-11CE-BFC1-08002BE10318} and click it.

5. If I'm correct about your problem, in the right pane of the window, you will see UpperFilters (if not, your issue is caused by something else and you can exit the registry). If you do see UpperFilters listed in the right pane then click it.
You may see an UpperFilters.bak registry entry. You do not have to remove it. Click UpperFilters only. If you do not see UpperFilters but do see LowerFilters, you still may have to remove that entry for this fix to be successful.

6. On the Edit menu, click Delete. You can also right-click UpperFilters then click Delete. Confirm the deletion.

7. Now for the LowerFilters, in the right pane, click LowerFilters (again if you DO NOT see this entry nor did you find the UpperFilters entry in the registry, you will need to move onto troubleshoot further).

8. On the Edit menu, click Delete. You can also right-click LowerFilters and click Delete. Confirm the deletion.

9. Now you're finished. Exit the Registry Editor and restart the computer.

After you restart your computer, the first thing that you should do is open My Computer to see if the drive is now listed. If you did find the Upper and/or LowerFilter entries in your registry and removed them, your drive should appear now.

I am assuming that your drive is still operable and is installed correctly. When I fixed this same issue on my co-workers laptop, the DVD ROM was recognized and working after the reboot. Also, because these registry issues are one of the most likely causes, it doesn't hurt to go into the registry just to see if those entries are there. If they are present, this is most likely the cause and the only solution that I know of.

Try these steps if you haven't already and post the results...

HP solution center?

Following are instructions I received for removal and reinstall of solution center. If this is a new install, you can just skip the instructions and click on the link. This involves removing all printers from your system. If you have some you want to keep you need to be more selective about what you delete in steps B,C, and D.

The following steps will wipe printer and printer drivers from the computer:
A. Removing entries from Add/Remove programs.
B. Removing entries from Printers and Faxes folder.
C. Removing entries from Registry.
D. Removing folders from C:\Windows
A. Add/Remove Programs:
=======================
1. Click Start, Control Panel and double-click Add/Remove Programs.
2. If there is an entry relating to one of the printers, select it, then click Change/Remove.
3. Follow the dialog and "uninstall all" or "remove all" as appropriate.
Some "printer software" have programs that show up here and it will be a good idea to remove those before going any further.
B. Printers Folder:
===================
1. Click Start, Control Panel and double-click Printers and Faxes.
2. Delete all the Printers available, by right-click and selecting "delete" option.
3. Click File menu and select Server Properties.
4. Select the Drivers tab.
5. For each entry, select the entry and click Remove.
C. Windows Registry:
====================
Before modifying registry, take a backup of it.
1. Click Start and click on Run.
2. Type Regedit and from File menu, click on Export Registry.
3. Select "All" option for backing up every key of registry.
4. Give a destination file (say Regbackup) and save it on to the Desktop.
5. Now, click "+" beside HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM
6. Click "+" beside CurrentControlSet
7. Click "+" beside Control
8. Click "+" beside Print
9. Click "+" beside Environments
10. Click "+" beside Windows NT x86
11. Click "+" beside Drivers
12. Under this key, there will be the keys Version-2 and Version-3 (some may be absent, which is normal)
13. Click on each Version key to find contents in the right-window pane.
14. Delete all the sub-keys inside Version-2 and Version-3, but not these keys themselves.
15. From File menu, click exit.
D. Deleting Folders:
====================
1. Click Start, Run and type "cmd" (without quotes).
2. Key-in the following commands:
net stop spooler
net start spooler
3. Type exit.
4. Open Windows Explorer and navigate to:
%systemroot%\system32\spool\drivers\w32x86
NOTE: %systemroot% is usually C:\Windows, but it might be "winnt" or something else; this is set when the OS is installed.
5. Inside w32x86, there will be folders with the names 2 and 3 (some may be absent, which is normal)
6. Delete all of the files and sub-folders in each of the 2 and 3 folders, but not the folders themselves.
7. Inside w32x86, there may be other folders with names starting with "hewlett_packard", "hp" or something else; delete these folders also.
8. Restart the print spooler (as in 2nd step, above)
9. Restart the computer.
At this point, the system should be pretty well back to the way it was before any printers were installed. The printing subsystem is then "clean" and ready for printers to be added using printer drivers. Install the all-in-one software, now.
Steps to download the software
===============================
Click on the link below to view the software download page.

=====================================
1. Click the Download only button.
2. Click the save button.
3. select desktop in save as window.
4. click on save.
5. The software will be downloaded to desktop
6. Unplug the USB cable from the computer.
