Some of the latest Verizon phones require a microSIM whereas the Droid Bionic requires a miniSIM. Please go to a Verizon corporate store where they can get you the appropriate size. It shouldn't cost you anything. Don't leave until they have it working.
it maybe that your not able to because there is a lock on the SD card which can not be removed if you downloaded the songs on that card from another phone or from the computer unless you have the special verizon softwear that is a CD that you buy at the store of online
but if this is no the case and you did download it on that phone on to that card from the verozon softwear that is on the phone then that is a phone delema which can be solved by calling verizons tech suppport and complaining they will tell you to redownload all the songs again and they will credit your account
The SDA announced the microSD format at CTIA Wireless 2005 on March 14, 2005, and approval of the final microSD specification was announced on July 13, 2005. At launch, the microSD format was available in capacities of 32, 64, and 128 MB. SanDisk introduced a 2 GB microSD card in July of 2006, initially priced at 99 USD. Since then, prices for flash memory devices have fallen dramatically. The same 2 GB card as of April 2009 can be found for as little as 12 USD at department stores, and as of May 2009 for as little as 6 USD at online electronics stores. At present date Jan 2010 a 16 GB micro SD card class 2 comes for about $40 and a 4 GB class 2 micro SD card comes for about $8. please rate my answer as helpful. thanks. Joe
The Samsung Alias can only use up to 2gb microSD cards. I had this same problem after purchasing a 12 gb card only to discover that I could not use it with this phone. Hopefully this will be fixed when they make the Alias 2.
Look into the opening where the sd card goes. Might have been clogged with lint etc and the card is not making good contact. Blow the lint out CAREFULLY and try again. Or take your phone by the Verizon store and ask then to take a look at the contacts for you. That is probably the problem.
