When i try and load creator9 i get a message that the certificate is missing
This is a precaution that Microsoft uses to help prevent any software get loaded that could possibly harm the system or not operate properly.
If you trust the software maker, go ahead and click "continue anyway" and load the software.
I am guessing that the "creator 9" software you are loading is the Roxio Easy Media Creator 9. If so, you should not have any problems just from loading it.
I have the same software and received that same window when I loaded it, but since then I have upgraded to Creator 10 not long after that and it is much better.
As time passes and you load more and more software, you will probably see that message a few times when loading software.
it does not mean that the software is bad, just that it has not been tested by microsoft and given a certificate as being compatible with the operating system.
Just don't load any software that has come from questionable places, and it would be a good idea to scan anything you plan to use with your anti-virus software first to make sure it is clean.
