Question about Orion1934 19" TV
There are thick, black, horizontal lines on the top and bottom of the tv. Every two to three weeks, the lines get bigger and shrink the screen of the tv.
Your TV is losing what is called vertical deflection. This might be caused by the vertical coupling capacitor going bad, or by the vertical deflection coil on the yoke transformer going bad. In any case there is not enough vertical deflection signal getting for the vertical output section of your TV to the vertical coils on the yoke transformer. I would suggest that you get this looked at by a qualified TV technician, due to the nature of this problem.
I hope this helps,
