Question about Nintendo DS Lite Console
Had a similar problem once with my Sega Nomad, gum had gotten lodged in the cartridge slot. I solved that problem by taking a metal crochet needle, popping it into the freezer for a bit, and then applying the needle to the gum (gently!) causing the gum to become stiff as it cooled. It was VERY important that the needle did NOT physically contact the metal contact pins within the cartridge slot, just the gum itself. As the gum cooled, it became possible to gently push it away from the contacts, and eventually hook the gum by its center of mass up and out of the slot. This took PATIENCE on my part, perhaps this can be applied to your situation?
