I see several indicators here that your hard drive is beginning to fail. What's happening is, the hard drive has sectors on it, one or more of the sectors is bad, but there are some sectors that are still good. It's writing to the all sectors, but is unable to read the bad. You will ned to replace your hard drive.

Virus protection software sometimes never cure the virus most especially when it is not updated. I suggest you send your laptop to install new OPERATING SYSTEM because it is already corrupted. Just don't forget to back up your important files and put now good virus protection. It take 2 hours of your time to reinstall the OS.
Pl switch the machine off and put 2-3 pounds of pressure with your palm on the keyboard closer to the spacebar.. this will fix it.. it is caused by the weakening of the adhesive of the wires below the keyboard. Long term option - get the keyboard opened by the an professional and cleaned properly..and fixed back neatly...

It sounds like you need to adjust your setting when you close the lid. If you set it to do nothing when the lid closes that should sort out your problem. Often it won't let you adjust them so if you uninstall the power management and then do the adjustments in the power settings then you should be ok
