Press Setup button Scroll till you find Fax Settings - Press OK Choose Rings to Answer - Set it - 6 ( based on the Rings on Answer machine ) - Press OK Check for ECM - Error Correction Mode - Press OK Turn it OFF - Press OK Check for Auto Answer option - Turn it ON too.
1. Your issue is possibly due to an un-sent message in the queue of the fax spool a. unplug the fax and wait 30 second then plug it back in the AC socket. 2. check the display window to see if you can fax 3. Select the fax button punch in your fax number if you hear dialing then the fax is sending. Wait for a fax response. Repeat steps 2 and 3 if not sending. If this is a multifuncitoning device clear all printing on the PC and try fax again.
I have purchased the HP M1319f multipurpose machine 1 year ago and expected it to print as well as fax. Sadly to say 1 year later, the printing works as expected but the fax never worked consistently for me. The solution I found was to buy a used fax machine and only use the HP M1319f as a printer.
The problem I've read about this problem on HP forums was the fax speed of the M1319f. It is locked to 28.8k which means it is only able to communicate with some fax machines. Older machines that doesn't support 28.8 will get errors and the fax will fail. This is definately an HP problem but considering I purchased this 1 year ago, this problem will never be fixed. Avoid this printer at all costs if your considering to use the fax machine.
This error code means that the size of the paper your machine prints onto is different to the size that it has received from another fax....take your paper out and adjust the side guides put the paper back in and then see what it says...
There may be a button on your console that says 'memory' or "memory status". pressing this key should erase any documents in the memory.
if none of this works turn it off and leave it off overnight, if in the morning when you turn it back on the memory should have been cleared....dont turn it off at the machine turn it off at the wall socket so the machine thinks there is a power failure...this should make the machine print out a status report when you turn it back on. The above is for the fax problem. For the unrecognized catridge:- This is a usual problem observed in times of loose connection or dirty catridge contacts. Please make sure that the catridges are clean ( especially the contacting end ). Try cleaning with alcohol.
thats because 6a00 is a service error not a user error, It could be
down to use of none canon inks glogging the ourge unit up after time,
it could be due to paper or objects in the purge, i would take the

the scanner works with the windows built in driver. Uninstall the hole mfc suite and reinstall after restart. This is the fix for the software.
