We load the disc and the usb cables and it keeps on saying access denied. Then we try to set things up and it won't let us. It keeps on saying mobile device is not recognizing device.

How do I upload pictures from my camera to my computer? Every time I try it says USB error on the camera screen.

The best way to download pictures from your camera to your computer involves removing the memory card from the camera and plugging it into a card reader (either built-in to the computer or connected via USB or FireWire). This is likely to be faster than connecting the camera to the computer, and won't run down your camera's batteries.

Once the card is plugged in, it will appear to your computer as a removable drive. You can use the operating system's drag&drop facility to copy pictures from the card to the computer's hard drive.

Samsung S850 USB Control mode

My Samsung S85 is plug and play. There was not special software.
I am running a 2006 iMac with that has Preview, and later after OS upgrade iPhoto already on it. One came up when the camera was connected.
To connect - turn camera power off. Connect cable. Turn on camera. Camera displays a selection of what to connect to. A drive Icon shows up on my computer screen.

Samsung S85 camera , USB Error?

Check the USB port on the camera for signs of debris or corrosion. There also is a USB driver chip on the main system board that could go out, but that is pretty rare. Maybe your pet chewed on your USB cord. Double check.

No usb port found

If you can't find such on your machine, then it's either disabled, the BIOS is out of date, the OS doesn't support your USB (Examples abound!) or other. I cut my time loss by adding an USB PCI card.
