I have exactly the same problem, after installing Firmware 2.21EU (previously I had 2.20EU and everything was fine). I have tried different changes in config of router, but the WAN IP connectivity comes and goes (with no problem in the WiFi Connection, as the router can "see" my laptop and signal is excellent).
I am going to install previous firmwares after a hard reset of the router, and check the results, but I am waiting for dlink to send me that firmweare (it is unavailable in the whole internet!!!)

I'd try doing a power cycle. Power off all the equipment. Plug in the Modem untill the online light is solid, then plug in the router, then i'd turn on your laptop.

Ensure that your connecting to the right network. Under the network settings the SSID is your Network name. Make sure it's not a generic name.

If you have a cable provider, you can just bring it to Geek Squad. They'll setup the router and setup all the security features in the store within about 10-15minutes.

Cant connect to d-link DIR-615 wirelessly, can someone help me?

What is the operating system on your laptop?
Can you access the Internet if you connect the computer to the router with the Ethernet cable?
If the wired connection is working then it must be the problem with the wireless network.
If the wired connection is also not working then you may need to reset and reconfigure the router.
If only wireless is not working then you can try creating a new wireless network and then connect your laptop to the new wireless netwok.
I can suggest you a website which may help you for Home network connection.

D-link DIR 635. Upload speed is sometimes very low

No it is NOT, most probably a spooling problem, or may need more RAM. some jobs depending on size and type can take a long time to spool, and print, try setting print quality lower too this helps.

The problem is that after one year, the wireless connection does not work. My laptop finds the network, but it does not receive anything.

Try to reboot everything and make sure that cables are properly intact from the modem to the WAN or Internet port on the router

D-Link DIR-635 - wireless not working

Hello GEMD,

There may be different reasons why your wireless network is not working properly, let me ask you few questions in order to narrow down the problem.
  1. Is your D-Link DIR-635 brand new therefore we are talking about a new installation?
  2. Are you able to connect via wireless your two laptops in other locations?
  3. Could it be that the wireless has not been enabled yet in your router settings? To check this you will have to log on to your router by typing 192.168.0.1 in the address bar of Internet Explorer then select Admin as Username and leave the password field blank. Go to the Wireless Settings and Setup tab in order to enable  the "radio" signal.
  4. Could it be that an SSID has not been assigned yet to your wireless network?
You can download the complete product manual from the following page.

D-link DIR-635 router

Hi, I am assuming that you can connect to your router's web based interface (192.168.0.1). On a PC LAN wired to the router, open a browser; Type "192.168.0.1"; Log-in username/admin and password/(blank); Go to Tools > Misc and the option to select the WAN speed (bottom); Lock the speed down on the WAN port of your router to 10Mbps (Some versions do not have this feature). Hope this works for you. If not pls post back with your modem brand/model. You may also want to log the IP settings (IP Add, Subnet Mask, Default Gateway, DNS Servers) of the PC that is directly connected to the modem when you can access the Internet when not using the router. Good luck and kind regards.
