I have a satellite L45 s7409 it was given to me yesterday,we hooked it to my internet service it worked find. today battery light was orange, connected to ac and is green now but when turned on i can hear it run the screen has never came on today

LCD screen does not display
you can easily find out if the lcd screen is bad by hooking up a vga monitor to the laptop. If it works then you need a new lcd screen you can get them from http://www.pricewatch.com
if other monitor hooked up is same then you need to replace video adapter.
