My phone is locked in headset mode and i dunno how to get it off?

Reinsert the headset and when in headset mode access the settings and change the Profile Settings from Silent to General and this should put the device back into its normal mode. Let me know if this works and if not Email me on cals2802@hotmail.co.uk and i will sort you out asap. :)

hi sfkimura you need to take the battery out of the phone. Next plug the headset and into the port. Take the headset out and now put the battery back into the phone. the phone got set in headset mode. You can try doing a reset of the default settings. Don 't do a factory reset it will erase your phone back to nothing on the phone. Ok hope this help

Always on headset mode

good luck with libra's solution. the problem is a tiny switch inside the headset jack. there are tons of different methods to cure this some even involving small amounts of WD-40. but, i just rammed a Q-tip (w/o cotton) in and out of the hole w/ the media player playing. you will know when/if it works cause u'll here music! good luck.

Change the setting from headset or handsfree back to normal. If you are using blue tooth, you have to shut it off to get normal mode to work.

Verizon phone mute button

Talk about silly. This is the 3rd time typing the solution. (The Terms of Use link wiped it out too.) I had same problem by accidentally setting mute from bluetooth headset. If you have same situation, just turn volume up or down on headset. (Turning volume up or down on cellphone did not help me.) Good Luck,
