DCR TRV310 fire wire driver

I can't get my computer Windows XP to recognize my camcorder. I have been looking for a driver to facilitate this and can't find it. Can you help?

Gary Having the exact same problem Gary describes. The camera/firewire was working one day and not the next. Cable was the same one used the day before and , as far as I can tell, nothing else was changed on the system.

Any ideas? It seems like something in the camera setting changed. When connected, the "AV IN" indicator shows up on the LCD. It goes off when un-plugged.

I get the same response on two different computers.
