Washer pump

Comment by 2much2d0, posted on Jun 17, 2008Afew days ago my washer paused towards the end of the load. Irestarted, then it did the same thing. Long story short it would notdrain. Now service is saying one week! How do I pull out the filteror other quick look repair?

remove the bottom panel 3 screws on bottom front ,
then you will see a large white (usually) filter access port ,
unscrew it and some water will empty so have rags or pan ready.
remove debris and see that the pump impeller is turning freely.
see that the float ball is loose and floating.
