Hello, I got a Land Rover 96 Discovery but can not get the radio to accept the code. It is a Pioneer and the dealer gave me the code number for the radio through serial number of radio, which match the VIN radio code, currently the radio display CODE blinking, but I have wait for hours with keys in acc and it will not take the code. Anybody has any ideas...
    Thanks

I have a 'Eurovox' car radio/cassette with 'Land Rover' on the front, but the two plugs do not match up with my Range Rover. So I would like to know how to, (after removing the plugs), wire it in. These...

If you leave the original plugs connected to the radio unit you will be able to get an adapter from a motor store. In the UK Halfords keep most types, in the US I don't know what similar stores you have but i would imagine Radio Shack or similar will keep the type you need. Take the radio unit with you so they can see the connectors on the unit - they will probablky be ISO fittings and then they will be able to advise the Range Rover fitting.

If they do not have a suitable adaptor, ask them to identifiy the connectors on the radio unit (DIN, ISO etc) and then ask your local Landrover/Range Rover dealer if they can supply an adaptor for you.

Hope this clears your problem, please mark the post as Fixya.

How do I get Land Rover discovery alpine Radio Code, help will be apreciated ser /no XQD000330PUY

The correct radio SERIAL NUMBER is required for a code
First remove the radio from the dashboard.
Then post ALL the letters+numbers on any labels, barcodes or stamped in the metal casing.
This information can then be used to see if a code can be calculated

Hi have a rover 75 reg on 04 plate with flip front for cd disc need radio code and how to get radio to work

Unfortunately the code for your radio will not be available for free or cheap from anywhere on the Internet as access is required to the original Rover factory database which is not commercially available.

Will only be available from your Rover Dealer or by using a Radio decoding Service.....Sorry !

Radio code

Check under the fuse box and on the side of the glovebox. Some dealerships will put stickers there with codes for radio and nav.
