The power button does not turn the player on, even if the lock switch is off and its fully charged.

I have this same problem now. I used the player briefly (turned it on and then decided to listen to a CD so I turned if back off) a couple weeks ago. It turned on and off just fine then. The battery had recently been fully charged. Now it will not do anything. It will not turn on and it is not recognized by my computer. The little reset button in the back has no effect either. I tried different USB ports and different USB cables. It acts like there is no battery at all.

    Any help out there?

    Thanks,

    Jay

My mp3 player won't turn on. It won't do anything. I've tried plugging it in, and pressing the reset button, nothing works. I don't want to have to buy a new one if the problem is fixable.

I had the same problem. Mine wouldnt do anything. My brother took the back off and moved some of the wires around. It came on and worked. He said it was`either the wires were loose or there was to much pressure on the battery. hope this help.

You should check if you have it on hold, if it needs charging or hit the reset button in the back other than that i dont know what to tell you guys.

My problem is also similar to these, but when i hit the reset button it will come on and work, but after i turn it off the keypad will not go off (it will continue to glow red) and the player will not come back on unless i hit the reset button. i only had it for about 2 weeks before it broke.

How do I delete music off of a coby mp829 player

I don't have this particular device. Although some players will let you delete files from the device alone, some won't. But an mp3 player should show up on your desktop computer as an external memory storage device when connected via USB. You can open it and delete music files by dragging to trash, or by right-clicking and selecting Delete. (Windows, but probably similar on Mac).

Take it to a cell phone repair shop locally and let them look into it, you could need to have a new main board installed.

The blue light does not blink,it is a steady light that will not turn off and it wont pair up with my phone

The only way to reset your headphones is by charging them and pressing the call button and volume up and it will work like new.

I have a Rowe R80 jukebox and after moving it it has no sound through the speakers I am in New Zealand

Well, in addition to all the fine suggestions that are here, I would like to add the simple and easy things that may have happened during the move.

IF YOU ARE NOT GETTING A LOUD POP WHEN THE MACHINE IS POWERED ON.......

1) Make sure that the wires on the terminals below are still connected to the screws. There is one ground and one each for left and right. The lower the tap the lower the (max) volume of the jukebox. If they are not connected there will be no sound.

There is a jumpers on the terminal strip where the volume control connects. Make sure that these connections are correct and tight. Also make sure that the jumpers did not fall off.

If you are getting the loud pop in the speakers when the power is turned on .....

Check the plug on the side of the mechanism, just below the back of the tone are.(looks like a little tube socket) Check to see that it is connected to the mech and the CORRECT PLACE on the amplifier. It mat be possible to have this end in the wrong place. bf77613e-82a3-4e37-b8fe-cc80f4d4dbcb.jpg

Check all all your connections against the pic.

I hope this was helpful.

It wont turn on, it shows 'push power protect' when you turn it on, or disconnect it and reconnect, i already attempted to disconnect the Sony Stereo MCH-EC909iP Mini Hi-Fi and it shows 'Push Power, P

The only thing I can think of is its goin into protection mode like an amplifier would, you maxed the volume out and it's protecting your speakers or you don't have the right voltage going to it, I can see you don't have it on a straight 120v plug and you might have the wiring wrong on the speakers to it might be too low of a ohm or too high
