If your keyboard is the most basic as you state then surely Windows 2000 should have the drivers for this keyboard in it's Windows Cab files.If however there is a problem with the keyboard it best to go to Device Manager and see what Win 2000 is complaining about.It may also be that you have used a PS2 keyboard before -this will bring about that Win2000 will be looking for the old Keyboard and ignore the USB one. In device manager klick on keyboards-in the dropdown right click on your keyboard-click uninstall.Let windows then uninstall the keyboard and restart with your USB board connected.Windows should pick it up and install.Regards
