Question about Casio Parts Cash Register PC Desktop

Casio cash register model # pcr202

The paper roll will not feed thru the printer. I found a small black piece of rubber that is about 1/4" in diameter and about 3/8" long that is split. I think this might be a belt. How do I fix it.

Hi. we don't have that model here, but it sounds like the feed roller has come out. It is common in the little Epson 42 series printers. You will need to get a new feed roller. Some suppliers will only sell you a whole printer - prob around $60-80 US. ring your local dealer and see if one is available.

How to change paper

This product uses 2 1/4in (57/58mm) wide standard thermal paper. Use the feed keys only when changing the paper. Do not pull the paper manually.

1. If prompted during use, or when setting up the printer for the first time, open the printer compartment by lifting up on the tabs located toward the back of the register. This will expose the printers.
2. Depending on each sides needs, use the release buttons to open the paper wells and release the print rollers.
3. Place the paper rolls into the paper well so it feeds from the bottom of the roll towards the front of the cash register (not the back). Pull the paper up and past the print heads towards the front of the cash register.
4. Once done, close the printer arms and use the feed keys to advance the paper.
5. To attach the journal roll to the back of the winding wheel, remove the wheel from the comparment. Put a small fold in the end of the journal roll and feed it under and around the tabs located on the wheel. Spin the wheel manually to take up paper slack.
6. Once the paper is attached, place the wheel into the holder in the back of the printer compartment. The part of the winding wheel with two discs should be on the right side.

sam 52xxm registers use two thermal printers....so make sure the paper is thermal and not in upside down. also make sure the receipt on/off function is "on" . and finally see if the tubular black paper feed roller hasn't popped out of its socket making the paper not turn or advance

Common problem when they get to this age. Feed roller falls to pieces. Replace whole printer to fix. Never found a supplier who will sell separate parts.

I have a Casio CR150 cash register. The paper wont feed through. Its making the correct noises & it will feed it i pull the till roll at the same time as pushing the feed button. Can you supply me with...

Very common problem. That's how the printer finally fails. that is basically considered the end of it's life. All the suppliers I have tried do not supply separate parts for this printer, so either replace the whole printer, or see if you can find a supplier of separate parts.

I have a PCR202 cash reg. Works good, except it prints double about 1/3 of the time, fixable?

I recommend to get a register without the type of printer it has. The (rubberband printer) is made to last too long. usually this means the pinch roll has loosened up a bit and in those printers it costs more to repair than replace!

hi. You buy the feed assembly (the whole black plastic part that holds the roller) from a dealer, then it clips into the back.
