Thanks for getting back to me so quickly.

I still received the same results. When I cradle my 80GB Classic Windows proceeds to ask to fix my device. Ignore or resolve, either one is met with the same BSOD. I've attached a photo for your reference.

    Thanks!

Thanks for the BIOS update, I didn't realize that was critical and I had not done it.

As for my ipod issue, it still exist. It happens when I cradle it then Windows wants to scan my device but still bluecreens.

    Thanks!

Unistall ITunes and all IPod software off of your computer. Go to Apple.com and download a new set and reinstall it.

Make sure your IPod isn't plugged into your computer while it is installing.

If you get BSOD after that tell me what the screen says.

What is the make and model of that computer.

I can't sync my IPod 80MG since downloading the newfangled iTunes9!

I never heard of Apple putting out a 80 MG ipod touch. You must have one of those cheap China knock offs. The ipod touch comes in three flavors- 8, 16, and 32 GB
If you got an ipod classic 80 GB, then hold the center and Menu button same time until the Apple logo appears.  This will reset the thing for you and you can try re-syncing.  Otherwise, uninstall itunes 9 and go back to the update that was working.  Just cause its a new update doesn't mean you gotta install it.  If your system works, then don't fu.k with it.

When i connect my ipod and wanna syncronize it is giving me this massage(itunes has detected a macintosh-formatted ipod. you must restore this ipod before you can use it on windows)

Yes to use a mac formatted ipod with windows you must reformat. But a PC formatted ipod can be read by a MAC. It seems silly and complicated, just remember ipods came out before OSX and ipods had a different file format. Almost all ipods are "PC" formatted now so people dont have this issue unless you want it that way.

You need to format the ipod like a harddrive. Right now it is probably in fat32 (32 meaning 32 bit = 4,000,000,000 bytes of data, or 4 gb.) Try reseting your ipod in itenes.
