There are a ton of different possibilities here, depending in the graphics card in your computer. many desktop computers nowadays will have either a Composite Video (yellow jack) or S-Video (black with 4 holes and a slot) which will run to a "Video In" on your TV

I am trying to hook up my dell xps all in one to my sony tv. the tv has a rgb pc hook up but my computer dosent

Judging by the TV with a RGB hookup, I'm sure that it has S-video. So does that motherboard...
Hook it up using S -video (cheap at WalMart), then go to Display properties.
Choose Advanced, then the Intel Chipset.
Choose the TV as the Primary and your TV will become your monitor

Installed Lexmark 1240 but when I try to set up fax it says no modem found

Yes, This assumes that you are hooking the printer upto a 56k/Fax modem on the Computer, Which the Printer already has itself, What you will want to do, Is hook a Phone line upto the the Printer in the appropriate slot, and dont worry about setting the Fax feature up on your Computer, Just Worry about the Scanner, printer. For the Fax Feature, Dial the number on the Printer and It should work without Ever touching the Computer

You should see the speaker sockets behind your computer. They will be usually marked audio out, audio in and microphone. If you have a 4.1 or higher sound card, then you may have upto 5 or more sockets. Simply plug in the speakers according to the colour.
