Question about Home Theater Systems

Re harmon/kardon how do u mean? interchange? im used to hookin up the more modern systems, but with the harmon kardon, the speakers attach to little screws, and i have tried switching the speakers systems around cuz it gives 2, but niether work, so would i have to put a set on each system attachments?

    nope nothin! very frusturating!! ok and i also wanna figure out why the auxillary power doesnt work nor does phono, so wut should i dont? the speakers are linear phase 8812s x2 but there is a third but i dont know if it will work, plus 2xpyramid royal blues. how would the best way to re attack this system to make its surround sound?

My hkts 15 subwoofer sounds blown. Ive tested the speaker and its not. I sent it in for repair and they could not find anything. Now I thinking its the amp? One day it started working fine and then sounded...


It could be either bad parts or bad solder connections or both but I agree with you if did what you said. Amp will have to be run for a while to know if it or something else.

A scope monitoring the line with the issue will be able to see when it fails.

Does the speaker system have its own Built in amp to the sub, If it has a built in amp, Then you can hook it up to thje computer with the proper patch cord,

How Curtis 5091 DVD home theatre speakers can hang on the wall


I dont think I would use adhesive because of the vibration. Have you considered using a picture hanger? the short brass ones with the little divits on the bottom? I know that would mean permenantly attaching them, but they would be invisible from the front.

I cant hear my speakers


i have harmon kardon speakers that came with my hp a815n, i recently had to reinstall my operating system, and i can't hear anything from my speakers. i've tried installing drivers and "searching for new hardware" and i can't seem to get it.........please help
