Hi there

Unfortunately there isn't a code fore this, you can only play R1 DVD's on an R1 DVD Player and you can only play R2 DVD's on a R2 DVD Player. You can find DVD's that are R2, that is all you can do.

American DVD players will not play European DVDs because they use different region codes, you can normally play them on computers, but DVD players are normally coded for only one region.

IF YOU LIVE IN THE USA OR CANADA THEN YOUR IN REGION 1 AND IT WILL PLAY WITHOUT CHANGING ANYTHING BUT IF YOU LIVE IN ANOTHER REGION OR YOUR DVD PLAYER IS FROM ANOTHER COUNTRY FOR SOME REASON THEN IT WONT PLAY.ALL DVDs MADE IN THE USA OR CANADA ARE REGION 1.

Region codes required for DVD's from England.

Hi its better to make your DVD region free,please follow these steps:The internet has made it easier to purchase obscure foreign movies on DVD that aren't sold in this country. DVD's have region codes so they will only play on certain DVD players. For instance, US DVD's are region 1 while Europe and Japan are region 2. The only way you can play a foreign DVD then is to purchase a region free DVD player or make your DVD player region free.

Get a DVD player. If you purchases a DVD player, make sure you purchase a DVD player that people have had success in converting to region free. If you already own a player, you will need to note down the make and model of your player.Step 2

Look up the DVD hack for your player. There are several sites that feature DVD hacks. Two popular sites are DVD Exploder and Video Help. Simply look up the make and model of your DVD player and check to see if there is a hack.

your dvd player will need to be unlocked.
google a search for your machine and include the words unlock code and you should find it.

are you in the USA? if your player is locked on region 1, that is US region then you can not play any other region England is 2

I don't think it would play on your DVD Player unless you DVD Player is "region-free" or "multi-region". Region 1 discs are intended for use with standard DVD players in North America (Canada and the USA). In most instances they can also be played on compatible "multi-region" DVD players (also known as "chipped" or "region-free" players).
