I had the KODAK EASYSHARE 5100 installed back in April and then I had major computer problems and had to do a computer restore. Now I can't get the software to install again. It acts like it is going to install ok, then gets maybe halfway and I get an error code 1304x17x3021026592x:defaulttricode errror. Can you tell me what is the problem and how I can get the printer reinstalled?

It is due to the compatibility settings of Windows Vista. The Kodak software has been designed for use in Windows XP, when you try to install the software in Windows Vista there will be compatibility problem . First of all search for the software which has the Windows Vista support.
Your pronter should have come with a driver disk. You should disconnect your printer from the computer and run the installation from the disk. When prompted, connect the printer to the computer to complete the installation.
