Re: compter won't open windows
First try that safe mode option and do log in . when you successfully log in restart your computer . this happen mainly when there is sudden loss of power supply to the cpu. shut down your computer properly by pushing the power button on the cpu

if you have a PC then when it has the codes there will be options so you click on "start windows normally" because it is in safe mode that happens after your computer has dump crashed. so if you change it that might help! good luck
open your computer in a safe mode then save important files in pen drive or some removable drives....or scan it in safe mode with updated antivirus......or updade windows or repaire windows using installation process...........this will definatelly works..........
starts up windows and shows safe-mode. That right there is your problem, windows defaults the monitor down to regular 640 mode. I will cut out the hdmi since that is not a monitor. Safe-mode is used to trouble shoot your computer and it loads just barely the drivers you need to see and work with the computer. You will have to get the computer to boot up normally then proceed from there, also you will have to set up your video card to output hdmi.
Hello there: If you cant get the computer to uninstall this in the safe mode or if you cant even get to the safe mode yo are going have to use your system restore disk if you have one and use it to repair the windows version that you have if you dont have the restore disk you can repair the current version using the disk that you have bu putting the disk in and restarting the computer once it starts lt it start and press any key when it asked than after that enter the f-8 key and do not say repair let it go into the install of your operating syste than it will show you your windows versiion that you have and then it wil ask you if you want to repair this version of windows now say yes and follow the screen it will repair it and reinstall the corrupted file '(s) ok best regards michael
First try pressing F2 at start up to see if you can get to setup. Also pressing F12 may get you a boot menu. If cd is already set as first boot you may get a chance to boot from a Windows cd. The idea here is to get to a minimal Windows configuration like setup or safe mode (F8) to see if this is a hardware or operating system fault. Two common issues with eMachines are power supply problems where repetitive reboots can actually fry the motherboard or if the PC has a few years use the CMOS battery. Steve Medley
You may have lost part of your windows program. If you have a system restore disk, you can run a system restore and probably fix your problem.
Some of your windows files have gotten deleted. When windows gets to this point all windows knows to do is restart. A virus can cause this problem.
