Hi can you help me please.
I have lost my booklets on how to help when you have to replace printer cartdrige. my problem is i have used up black ink cartridge and the colour one, i have purchased a new black one and have inserted but i have not replaced the colour one and as it is empty i have taken it out of the printer. i am trying to print off my word document and want it in black ink, why does it keep popping up colour cartridge is low. I only want to print with black????????

It will tell you the colour is low, regardless of the format in which you are printing. I don't believe Canon provide a way for you to disable this for their printer range, so you'll need to put in the new colour cartridge to get rid of this error. (you should however, be able to print whilst receiving this message)
