Iphone battery is not charging

Hi ,
My iphone battery refuses to charge....it shows the empty battery with a bit of red....and the charging logo.....but it does not charge....have tried for hours together ....but of no use....have tried all kind of iphone chargers. .....

If you've got the 3G you need to go in to replaceyour power adapter. You should've received a text on this, but moredetails on power adapter recall are available here: http://www.computerworld.com.au/index.php/id;151012559

Try to restart the phone hold the home button and the on/off button together until you see the apple logo - ignore slide to turn off. This worked for mine
