Question about Office Equipment & Supplies

Docucolor 250 paper jam over and over and over and over....

Our docucolor 250 office printer is continuously jamming in Area 1 specifically 1d and 1c. We use 6 different types of paper for various printed materials. They are all getting jammed in the 1d - 1c area. We have not changed any of the paper types, sizes, or settings. The printer worked fine yesterday, but today it jams every single piece of paper. We are all getting really pissed off. Can you help?!?!?!?

Code 077-106 in docucolor 252

This error code indicates a jam either in the fuser exit area or in the final exit area so I would check these areas for a small bit of paper that may be sticking on one of the jam sensors in this area

Our problem is that paper is not coming out.Display shows"Clean paper jam" And when we open the front door we see the paper inside allready printed but it can't go out from printer.

The reasons can be from the following:

1. the output roller maybe jammed, the rollers can be having some adhesive struck on it.
2. The drive to the rollers can be jammed, failure of the motor to the drive is another possible area.
3.Possible fault in the drive board, need to check the main board.
4. Mis-Alignment of the rollers is another possible chance.

Xerox DocuColor 242 Fusor Error/ Paper Jam

Those coded normally are related to something not being seated properly in the paper transport in the fuser area.

When the machine dont start fault error 102-353

Solution: Remove the Paper Jam in the Duplex Automatic Document Feeder (DADF) Top Left Cover bttn_print.gifMake Printable bttn_email.gifE-mail this page elem_1_spacer.gif
  1. Lift up the handle on the Left Cover of the DADF until the cover comes to a stop.

NOTE: An inside cover will also raise with the Left Cover as the two covers are interlocked.

  2. Gently open the covers.
  3. Remove any paper that may be jammed. Check for obstructions in the DADF area including jammed originals, paper fragments, paper clips or staples.

  4. Check for obstructions in the DADF paper sensor area, small paper fragments, paper clips or staples may get caught there.

  5. Clean the DADF rollers with a damp cloth.

  6. Close the Left Cover on the DADF until you hear it click into place.
  7. Raise the DADF, remove all the originals, and then lower the DADF.
  8. Make sure your originals are not torn, wrinkled, or folded. Load your originals again following the instructions on the Touch Screen.

NOTE: Originals that have already been scanned will automatically be skipped, and scanning will resume from the previous document sheet.

  9. Torn, wrinkled, or folded originals may cause paper jams and damage. Place the originals directly on the Document Glass to make new originals that can be scanned using the DADF.

Jammed paper

Have you cleaned the feed rollers with something like "Platenclene". If not, how far does the paper go in before it jams?

Mar 29, 2008 | Xerox DocuColor 12 Printer

1 Answer

Docucolor-12 10-389 CODE

That is a fuser jam indication.

  1. Clear the Paper Jam and Obstructions in the Machine

  2. Make Sure the Paper is the Correct Size, Type, Weight, and Orientation

  3. Make Sure the Paper Supply Setting Matches the Type of Paper Loaded in the Paper Tray

  4. Load the Paper Trays Correctly

  5. Fan the Paper, Turn the Paper Over and Reload the Tray
If the above are all correct, you may just have a small piece of paper stuck on a sensor. Just has to be a small piece of paper directly on one of those. Also see if a sensor flag is dislodged. A sensor may be bad but not likely
