it depends if it is top post or side post, another words wheather the cables connect to the top or side of the battery. side post are usually 5/16 the top post are usually 1/2 make sure to remove the ground first so not to short anything out. good luck
Actually,I would suggest just taking it to an Advance or AutoZone and having them swap it for you for free and get a standard 60 month battery.Or if you want to do it yourself, just get a 60 month battery from a reputable parts store near you. I dont advocate Walmart as everything they sell comes from overseas lol. But your model may be either a top post or a side post battery. You can just look at your old one and see the post set up.But a 60 month battery should do you just fine. You can spend a ton of money on a bettery which is overkill really. You car does not require that many cold cranking amps or a deep cycle.Remember, they will try and sell you the biggest battery they can lol.
Make sure it is the proper rating and size for the vehicle. It does not need to be a "Nissan" battery. Where you decide to buy your battery will have someone to look up what battery fits your car or will have a book you can use to look it up yourself. Before going into the store you may want to write down the type of battery that is currently in your vehicle. It is side post or top post? What are the CCAs (cold cranking amps)?
You can call your local parts store and have them to look up the battery for this particular model. They can look at the battery and tell you if it has top or side posts. Most newer vehicles (especially passenger cars) will have side posts.
look down either the front or backside of the battery side.... you will see a clip there holding the battery. undo the nut and the battery will come out.
