Question about Starbucks Coffee Makers & Espresso Machines
I'll preface this by saying i have never used a strarbux machine, but I have used dozens of others (daily habit for 18 years now)
when are you trying to get your steam (ie before or after brewing the espresso)
If you have been trying before, wait till after (if your machine does not let you turn off the espresso output then when the coffee starts to slow down (just past the peak of flow).
It should take only a few seconds to steam the milk. (also the closer to the surface of the milk that the steam is released the frothier the milk will get)
