Question about HP Compaq d530 PC Desktop

Sound driver i have a compac laptop. i haven't his drivers disk. i haven't sound driver so please give me sound driver.

* request to visit compac laptop site type ur laptop model number and download motherboard cd and install sound driver by going to mycomputer->right-click properties->device manager->here if u get yellow ? in sound driver ->right click and give update before this put ur download cd in cd writer or whatever

*give motherboard model number in visited site and follow same procedure as above

You haven't specified your operating system but i will give you solution you should first uninstall previous sound drivers then go to www.notebookera.com and select your Device model and sound drivers for your operating system Windows VISTA ,7 etc.

you can download the sound driver from the website www.driverpool.com you have specify your desktop model and download the driver

following steps to get the audio driver installed correctly.

1. Click on Start and select Run. Now type devmgmt.msc and press enter.
2. Right click on "AUDIO DEVICE ON HIGH DEFINATION BUS " or Conexant
High
defination audio entry and click Update driver.

3. Select "Install from a list or specific location"
4. Click Next. Then select "Don't search, I will choose the driver to
install"
5. Click Next and then select "Sound, video and game controller" from
the
list.
6. Click Next and then click Have Disk.

7. Click Browse C:\swsetup\sp35940 folder and the double click the
(WinxP -> Thrifty10 -> CPL30A5a.inf file for Audio) Select the .inf file

I HAVE PERSSARIO C 700 COMPAC . I CHANGES THE OS . I INSTALL XP . BUT NOW THE PROBLEM IS SOUND CARD . NO AUDIO VIDIEO SUOND . CAN YOU SOLVE IT .AND GIVE ME SUGESTION .CAN YOU GIVE ME SOUND CARDS AND...


Before reformation of the hard drive, the Restore disk should be used ok. It has to prompt for the Operating System at the end of its work. Remember also to indicate the OS when asked. Good luck
