The best thing that you can do is to open the laptop and reconnect and connect all the removable hardware that is connected on the motherboard inside your laptop (try to think first before you decide to open your computer because the case of the laptop you might damage the tip of lock on your laptop, after removing all the screws you will be having a hard time to open the case because of the locks.) take note that all of the locks are sensitive you might break it if your not an expert.
I hope that you will understand why i provided you a little information not the complete/ easy to follow instructions because it will take time before learning how to open and removing the parts of the laptop. You need to understand that all things that your going to remove are sensitive, but i will assure that it will be fixed after doing it.
a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.

So, if you can hear startup sound then motherboard, RAM and HDD is OK! Try to connect it with external monitor, if it's working on it, then problem in LCD, LCD light or LCD cable. If not working with external monitor then it is video card problem, if card is integrated then you need to reball or change at all south bridge on the motherboard, if video is as module card then just replace it with compatible one. If LCD cable - disassemble laptop to get LCD cable and test each wire with any multimetr with sound beep and replace it if needed. If LCD light - try to take LCD screen under good lamp then power on laptop and carefully look to dark screen if you see very dark Windows boot screen then you need to disassemble LCD housing, disassemble LCD, remove and replace LCD lamp with working one. If all this cant help, then you need to replace LCD at all.
Turn off notebook. Remove the battery. Press Power button. Notebook should start working. Wait for 15 secs. If the screen still blank press Power button and hold it for approx. 4 seconds until notebook is powered off. Then press power button again. Bingo, problem should be solved.
1.Please keep pressing and releasing F8 key when ACER logo is coming.
2.start the computer in safe mode by selecting it in advanced OS choice menu.
3.If started in safe mode go to programs>accessories>system tools>system restore and restore the system to a back date by selecting a bold previous date in calender.
Idf not booting in safe mode also you may need to reinstall the OS again.
first try booting the laptop and pressing the Fn key with the numerical ( numbered key ) that has a picture of 2 screens on it. This is for booting to an external monitor. you could also try adding an external ( pc monitor ) this will eliminate any motherboard Faults.
Secondly, the graphics chip driver may be corrupt or not installed correctly. if you have a restore cd, you could try booting the laptop, with the cd in the drive.
you can then try, to see if the settings in the bios are all correct, by booting/starting the laptop and pressing esc or F2 or delete immediately as the laptop starts. ** Be-Careful** what you adjust.
My suggestion is to look for. ** default settings tab** or load setup defaults.
these are the obvious things to try, before assuming that you have a faulty graphics chip or motherboard fault.
